A lifetime ago, while running a used bookstore with my partner in the US, I spent endless hours playing the game go in a local coffee house. Books like this were invaluable to our small circle of players. I recently threw stones with a friend here at Bunbudo and it was a well-spent afternoon, though I realized how little my game has progressed over the years and how much his has improved. This is an excellent book in English for those who want to start the game or who have just started recently. Part of me wants to keep the book and re-examine my game from the fundamentals. The other part of me wants another person to discover the joy of the game go, and this book would be quite useful in that regard.
