For bookworms, by passionate writers
Bunbudo is a used bookstore in the Nishi-Ogikubo neighborhood of Tokyo. We buy, sell, and trade used books.
The name refers to the study of both literary and martial arts.
We offer martial arts classes inside the shop (moving the bookshelves aside as well as in other locations in Tokyo.
In addition to used books, we also sell used CDs, movie pamphlets, DVDs, and more.
We maintain core hours from 3pm to 6:30pm from Thursday through Sunday. However, we are usually often for longer hours. You can check a weekly schedule below.
Thursday (木) :
Oct. 16 from 3pm to 6:30pm
Friday (金) :
Oct. 17 from 2pm to 6:30pm
Saturday (土) :
Oct. 18 from 12pm to 6:30pm
Sunday (日) :
Oct. 19 from 1:30pm to 7:30pm
Bookstore Location
Our shop is located about 5 minutes from Nishi-Ogikubo station in the Suginami Ward of Tokyo (4-4-14 Nishiogi Kita). Be sure to use the yellow sobu line on weekends and national holidays!
